Gap Insurance
If your vehicle is stolen, accidentally damaged beyond repair, or otherwise declared a “total loss”, most auto policies only cover the actual cash value of your vehicle…less your deductible. Unfortunately, you are liable for the balance that remains on the loan. Gap protection covers that in between money left on the loan. Ask a loan officer for complete details and a pamphlet.
Low Cost Vehicle Warranties
Many costly mechanical and electrical failures happen AFTER the factory warranty has expired. Avoid expensive repairs by protecting your vehicle. Our warranties are more affordable than those offered by dealerships or other warranty companies. We offer Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Copper protection, each with great coverage. Automatic Loan Payment Transfer
Life is simple when you don’t have to worry about paying bills. When you have a loan with Members First, we can set up your payment to be automatically paid each month from your checking or savings account. You will never be late on your payment and it’s one less thing to worry about! To set up your payment transfer, speak with a Financial Service Rep or Loan officer for more details.
Vehicles for Sale
From time to time, we have repossessed vehicles for re- sale here at the credit union. We sell these vehicles at a much lower price than dealerships and you can finance it here as well to make it fast and simple on you! We have competitive rates, many different payment options, and a straightforward application process. *NOTE: All vehicles are sold as is. We encourage you to have any vehicle checked by the mechanic of your choice prior to purchase.
NADA
The NADA website is a great place to visit when you’re in the market for a new or used vehicle. NADA values are available for: Used cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATVs, watercraft’s, recreational vehicles, small boats, large boats, and conversions. The NADA can also provide MSRP for a new vehicle, and information is available on loan value, trade in value, and retail value on used vehicles.
Check By Phone
A check-by-phone payment is a service that allows members to pay their loan payments at Members First from their other financial institutions. When using this service, you will pay a $10.00 fee when calling in to our Collections Department or you can pay online for only a $6.00 fee. You will pay the fee each time you make a one (1) time payment, or you can set it up on a monthly cycle and it’s FREE! If you have any questions, please feel free to call our Collections Department during normal business hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
