Announcing Approved Board Nominees
The nominating Committee reviewed applicants under our election guidelines, as explained in the October statement insert. The following members submitted applications and were approved as nominees for the available positions on the Board of Directors. The annual meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the Main Office located at 5444 S Staples St, Corpus Christi, TX 78411.
Manuel Esquivel III
Manuel Esquivel III was born in Bay City, Texas, and has resided in the Corpus Christi area since 2004. He brings 28 years of experience with AT&T and has been a dedicated member of the credit union since 2002. Manuel has served on the Board of Directors since 2014, including a term as Chairman. He and his wife, Linda, have been married for 16 years and are proud parents of three daughters.
Curtis Reeves
Curtis Reeves was born in McKinney, Texas, and has called Corpus Christi home since 1987. He retired from Southwestern Bell after an impressive 36-year career. Curtis has been a credit union member since 1973 and joined the Board of Directors in 2022, where he currently serves as Vice Chairman. He and his wife, Mary Ann, have been married for 52 years and enjoy a large family that includes four children, 15 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his board service, Curtis is an active member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, where he serves on the Bishop’s Committee and Vestry.
