Electronic Consent
This Electronic Consent Agreement (“Agreement”) covers your rights and responsibilities concerning your use of the portal and its services. By consenting to this agreement, you agree to conduct transactions electronically and receive communications (including disclosures) electronically.
You must consent before you can access the portal to provide and receive electronic documents and communications. For this agreement, “eDisclosures” refers to the documents related to the transaction provided electronically. “You” and “Your” refer to individuals named in the applicable documents. “We,” “Our,” and “Us” refer to Members First Credit Union (MFCU).
MFCU is entitled to act upon instructions received through the portal under your username and password, without inquiring into the identity of the person using that username and password. We have no responsibility for establishing the identity of any person or determining the validity of any transaction.
You agree that you will not, under any circumstances, disclose your username and/or password. You are liable for all transactions made or authorized using your username and password. You agree that if you give your username or password to anyone, or fail to safeguard its secrecy, you do so at your own risk and assume full liability for all transactions and requests and release Us of any liability. You agree to notify Us immediately in the event your password is lost, stolen, or is otherwise compromised. You acknowledge that We will never ask for your password.
Please read the following essential information and affirm your consent to transact business electronically by checking the box that You acknowledge and agree to Electronic Consent terms.
Your Consent
Your consent to participate in this transaction electronically will apply to all Documents for the applicable transaction for which You are applying. If You provide Your consent by checking the box that You acknowledge and agree to Electronic Consent terms, We will conduct this transaction electronically, instead of providing You with the Documents in paper form. You may choose to sign the documents electronically. A separate Electronic Consent Agreement may be completed prior to signing documents electronically.
If a document related to Your transaction is not available in electronic form, a paper copy will be provided to You at your request free of charge.
Conducting this transaction electronically is voluntary. If you choose not to accept receipt of eDisclosures, paper documents will be mailed to You at your request.
Additional verification of your identity may be required.

Withdrawal of Consent
If You originally consent to receive eDisclosures, but later withdraw Your consent, You will not be required to pay a fee for withdrawing consent and receiving paper copies of the Documents.
You have the right to withdraw Your consent at any time. By declining or revoking Your consent to receive eDisclosures, We will provide You with the Documents in paper form.
If You originally consented to receive eDisclosures, but later decide to withdraw Your consent, You can do so by notifying Us at 361-991-6178 or by written letter addressed to Members First Credit Union, 5444 S Staples St, Corpus Christi, TX 78411.
Obtaining Paper Copies
After Your consent is given, You may request from Us paper copies of Your Documents by notifying Us at 361-991-6178 or by written letter addressed to Members First Credit Union, 5444 S Staples St, Corpus Christi, TX 78411. If You request paper copies of the Documents, You will not be required to pay a fee for receiving paper copies of the Documents.
System Requirements
In order to receive eDisclosures, You must have a computer with Internet access and an Internet email account and address; a currently supported Internet browser using 128-bit encryption or higher, a currently supported PDF document reader, SSL encryption and access to a printer or the ability to download information in order to keep copies of Your eDisclosures for Your records. By acknowledging and agreeing to the Electronic Consent terms, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the System Requirements and that you can access documents and information in electronic form as described in this agreement.
If the software or hardware requirements change in the future, and You are unable to continue receiving eDisclosures, paper copies of such Documents will be mailed to You once You notify Us that You are no longer able to access the eDisclosures because of the changed requirements. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify You before such requirements change. If You choose to withdraw Your consent upon notification of the change, You will be able to do so without penalty.
How We Can Reach You
You must promptly notify Us if there is a change in Your email address or other information needed to contact You electronically. We will not assume liability for non-receipt of notification of the availability of eDisclosures in the event Your email address on file is invalid; Your email or Internet service provider filters the notification as “spam” or “junk mail”; there is a malfunction in Your computer, browser, Internet service and/or software; or for other reasons beyond Our control.
